4G Calling Galaxy S8

Hi,

This is my first post. Just joined EE with a Galaxy S8. I'm living in area of 4g+ so great speeds etc. My question is how am I supposed to turn on 4g calling. When I call it automatically drop to 3G or H+. Also doesn't seem like Wi-Fi calling wants to work either even tho it's on in settings. Phone bought directly from EE.

Re: 4G Calling Galaxy S8

HI,

@qucharski

Are you on pay as you go or pay monthly?

WiFi calling and 4G calling only available for pay monthly contract or Sim only.

Thanks

Re: 4G Calling Galaxy S8

Hi,

If your call drop to 3G or H+ then you are not in a VoLTE area.

VOWIFI if activated via call settings but you should only need this if your signal is poor. This service works over wifi. You need to activate this service as per the EE help guide. As I say it shouldn't be needed if you receive a good signal.

Thanks
