10GB promotion lhr10 doesn't work

Hi,

 

It is urgent as I am visiting UK... I bought an EE SIM card @ Heathrow airport, but the 10GB data cannot work! It says "unfortunately you are not eligible for this offer...". Could anyone help investigate into this?

Hi and welcome to the community @Kirdon

 

Please use the standard 500mb first as the 10GB should automatically start.

 

If this does not happen please let me know.

Hi @Christopher_G, I got the same problem! I bought the SIM card @ heathrow airport and 10GB data cannot work! It says "unfortunately you are not eligible for this offer". Could you investigate into this? It seems a pretty common problem. Thanks!

My apologies, but I need help as well. I've bought the card from a reliable source in Singapore, and has successfully activated the 10Gb free data upon texting the code. However, I had just received a message telling me that I have use 80% of my data and have 500 mb remaining, unable to check the actual amount of data I have used. However, I had received a confirmation message telling me that the 10 Gb of data is activated already.

 

May i ask if the data only pertains to usage within the UK, and not the EU? I am currently travelling in Norway, and has used the previous data in this manner as well.

What is displayed when you head over to http://add-on.ee.co.uk/status

 

Your data should be usable in the EU.

As you have received the confirmation that the 10GB has been added to your account, the full allowance should kick in after your current pack expires or the current data is used.

Once your 3GB runs out, your 10GB should start.

Many apologies for bringing this up again, but the 10gb has evidently not kicked into usage as I am now left with no data on that card. I've received the message "You have used all the data from your pack. To stay connected get an add-on by texting ADD DATA to 150 or get your next pack now by texting ALL PACKS to 150."

 

Is it possible to look into the issue for me again?
