Our website is currently blocked by EE Content Lock and we believe it has been incorrectly classified. We would be grateful if a community manager could pass this to the categorisation team for review.

Site: https://withsolira.com

Who we are: Solira is a GPhC-registered UK online pharmacy, operated by QCP1 Ltd. Our GPhC premises registration is 9013213 and our Superintendent Pharmacist is Jimah Alsaai MPharm, GPhC 2232652. Both are verifiable on the General Pharmaceutical Council register at pharmacyregulation.org.

The problem: EE customers cannot reach our site, including our patient consultation pages. Testing on Blocked.org shows the site failing on EE while loading normally on O2 and Three. On EE the failure presents as an SSL error, and EE customers report seeing a Content Lock page.

Why we think it is a misclassification: We provide regulated healthcare services — pharmacist-led consultations and dispensing for weight management, hair loss and men’s health. Every patient completes an online health assessment reviewed by a UK-registered prescriber before any medicine is supplied. All content is clinical and factual, written for patients, and subject to GPhC and MHRA rules. I appreciate that pages referencing men’s health treatments can trip adult content filters, but this is medical information from a registered pharmacy, comparable to NHS content and other registered pharmacy sites that are accessible on your network.

Impact: EE customers, including existing patients, cannot access our consultation service or look up information about medicines they have been prescribed.

Could someone please pass this to the categorisation team? It would also help to know whether the block applies at default Content Lock or only at the strict setting.

We have also emailed Safeguard@ee.co.uk. Happy to provide our GPhC registration certificate or anything else needed.

Thanks,

Thank you, but the statement quoted concerns eligibility for receiving prescription treatment, not the age rating of the website’s content.

The BBFC Mobile Classification Framework states that sites supplying age-restricted goods or services are not automatically subject to adult filtering unless the content itself meets the Part B adult-content criteria. Solira is operated by a GPhC-registered UK pharmacy and provides regulated clinical information and consultations. It contains no pornography, illegal-drug promotion or other material meeting those criteria.

The exact HTTPS address produces an EE-only Content Lock/SSL failure while O2 and Three return OK. Please escalate this to EE’s safeguarding/categorisation team for a formal review rather than relying solely on the service eligibility statement.
