Hello, why is my monthly SIM card fee now £25 after 6 months, when it was £20 at first?

Hi @Ay89 Thanks for getting in touch with us here in the EE Community nd telling us about this.

Some SIM-only plans have a discount for the first 6 months of the term, then when the discount drops off, the plan goes up in price.

Do you still have details of the deal that you agreed to?

@Ay89 There’s been a yearly price increase as in line with your contract terms and conditions. Have you also looked at your bill breakdown.

Both my mobile and internet bill have gone up, my mobile bill (2 sim only plans initially @ £20 ) have gone up by £6+ per month!

My Fibre broadband bill has gone up by at least another £3 per month.

That is not what I signed up for!

Sort it out or I'll take my mobile and broadband to a competitor! Fed up with these unwarranted price hikes!

why do you always have to pass on the costs of investments to the customer? You make enough profit to do so without increasing prices annually!

And certainly not by as much as £3-£6- at a time, that is sheer greed!

This a community forum and we are all other users and customers so no one here can give you an answer to that question on behalf of EE or "sort it out".

If you wish to question your billing if you believe it to be wrong and not covered in your T&Cs, then you would need to contact EE Customer Services.

@techjunkie68 who else is going to pay for it. Yes they make a profit as BT/EE are a company after all and they do operate to make a profit just like most companies do.
