i cannot stream on Chromecast as described below

Can anybody suggest solution?

I have issues streaming over chromecast. I can watch content normally over my phone app. However when i try to cast on my tv it goes on a loop and Never gets to show the content. I have already restarted tv and App once. The TV and phone are on the same wifi pf course, what more can i do??

What are you casting to specifically here?

Is it your Smart TV directly, or a separate device, and are these fully up to date?

hi @Peter_W i am casting to a LG Smart TV, where my Chromecast is connected to on the back of the TV. when you say up_to _date? what do you mean? i believe TV is and so is the Chromecast device which i control through my smartphone (Google HOome app)

Thanks @Bianca2705, so it's a Chromecast Dongle connected to the TV that you're casting to here?

Have you had a chance to check other devices with this recently to see if they work?

Also can you please make sure your TNT app is fully up to date at the moment too?

Hi @Peter_W ,

yes it is a Dongle,

No I did not try the Dongle on another TV. However I did restart the Dongle and it does show that is working ok on the Google home app and on the TV's HDMI1 output of the TV where Chromecast is connected.

Also I am able to Cast OTHER TNT sport events, i CANNOT see the Roland Garros Tennis but for example I can watch Cycling.

This isn’t the first time I’ve noticed issues when a large number of events are being streamed simultaneously. For instance, when all the Champions League, Europa League, and Conference League matches are broadcast at once, Chromecast often becomes very slow or fails to cast any of those events.

I am left with the wheel spinning as per the picture above but the casting never starts

Clearly i am talking about TNT sport events that feature the Chromecast Icon in the top right corner of the screen. This means that they can be casted in principle,

My TNT sport app is up to date, i have checked in Google play on my pohne

It is strange that it is working on some content and not others. In order to get to the bottom of this, I'd recommend contacting our customer care team so they can investigate this further.
