How do I end my contract with EE. I’ve tried messaging on the app but it’s not letting me go through and not letting me start a new conversation either. I use a virgin media broadband and would like to just use the mobile plan now as it saves me more money

You need to phone CS to cancel a contract.

If you are wanting to cease your mobile contract completely you need to phone EE giving 30 days notice of cancellation of your contract. Otherwise if you intend to move to another network, either taking your existing no. with you or not, get your PAC or STAC respectively from EE & give it to your new provider. If you are still within your min term you will be liable to pay early termination fees for the rest of the term. It will basically be months left x monthly charge - 4%.

Virgin Media cross-sell O2.

Make sure you've tested O2 service in all the areas you frequent first.

So all the tele reps seem to have a hidden answer sheet, I have take the following section from contract but, I am told that it's not true. If I pay off my Air Time part of a deal I have to pay both off together despite the fact that they are both separate and individually signed contract??? Surely this can't be right or legal?

You don't HAVE to cancel your device plan with your airtime plan on EE, they are separate agreements. Your device plan is a fixed-term credit agreement for the phone, while your airtime plan is a continuing service for the SIM and mobile usage. Once your device is paid off, the device payments stop, but your airtime plan continues unless you actively choose to cancel or upgrade it.

Here's a breakdown:

Device Plan:
This is a separate credit agreement with a fixed number of payments to cover the cost of your phone. Once the device is paid off, the payments stop automatically.
Airtime Plan:
This is your ongoing mobile service, covering things like minutes, texts, and data. It continues until you choose to change or cancel it.
Separate Contracts:
EE's device and airtime plans are treated as two separate contracts. You can switch your airtime plan without affecting your device plan and vice versa.

In essence, you don't need to cancel your device plan when your airtime plan ends or vice versa. You can manage them independently, and they are separate agreement

No, that's not quite right & it's not quite vice versa!

If you cancel, e.g. by paying it off or upgrading, your airtime plan early before its min. term you have to pay off your Flex Pay device plan. After the min. term you may continue paying for the Flex Pay device plan. Indeed you can't even upgrade until the device plan is paid off. See Flex Pay Explained:

If you cancel your plan within the 24 month minimum term, you may be charged early termination fees and you’ll have to pay off the remaining Flex Pay balance in full.

Absolute Bo88ox. If it wasn't for the fact that the amount is not massive I
would fight them, this goes against all the unfair practices that the
communication watchdogs are determined to stop! It's unfair and I think if
pushed unlawful too.

When I have tried to call E E line , said I can’t hear me !!!!!

as my phone can use it , with no problem !!!
