topic QCI on EE - are all equal? in Small Business

Are all plans (business etc) on EE QCI 8 for data? Or do they vary (and how)?

I think EE bump QCI from 8 to 9 if FUP is exceeded, but curious if they all start out the same?

This is referred to in EE Mobile Broadband Traffic Management Policy T&Cs :

On plans that have an Unlimited data allowance we have a Fair Usage
Policy (FUP) - 1TB for EE Mobile WiFi plans & 600GB for EE PAYM SIMO
and Handset plans. Any customers breaching the FUP will
have their QCI moved from an 8 to 9, meaning their service is
deprioritised on congested cells.

This doc. is headed "Mobile BB" but does say it applies to All mobile products as the above extract mentions.

Great, thanks.

But do all plans, be it business, PAYG, monthly etc all start at QCI 8?
I think some providers start their "cheapo" plans on a 9 🙂

Can't speak for business. You'll need to see if they have a similar TM policy. That doc. applies to at least all EE personal mobile plans.
