I have a small business sim only account. It ended Jan 2022, and I've been pestered by text to go to a shop to renew.

I can't find out how to just renew on the website or on the app (the app does almost nothing correctly so I don't trust it much).

I don't want to go to a shop just to renew a contract, I will not do it by text or phone. How can I renew on the website?

@Crithwood , contracts do not just end, they continue, it is that most customers either want to upgrade or if they have had a phone contract, change to sim only. If broadband, then may choose to change that as well.

You do not have to do anything if it is sim only contract and you are happy with what you are paying per month.

Thanks Schockwave. I guessed that as the service has continued for 9 months
past the end date. But how do I stop the pesky text reminders?

@Crithwood , have you checked by logging into your account, I believe there is a way to tick that you do not want to receive email/text from EE.

What is the exact wording of these messages, out of interest?

As already explained, EE contracts don't expire or need renewing - they are rolling contracts that have a minimum term which is often confused with them "ending".

If you're replying using a phone, then copying & pasting should be the exact same whether it's from &/or to a text or an email.

If you're replying using a laptop/PC, then just type the message out.

It's not critical though, just curiosity.
