Switched to ee and transfered number but it's wrong

Hi. I have switched from tesco mobile to ee and long story short I have transferred my Tesco mobile number to my new ee Sim through the number 150 by going texting port, the phone number then the pac code. I got a text after saying it was successful. Two days later it said my Sim was ready to use and it was. But when I send texts they come through the wrong number. But when I receive a text Eg if I get a message from ee to login to my account it comes through the correct number. And on my android phone in the Sim manager section no phone number appears but with my old Tesco Sim the number shows up! Also the number that shows in the about phone section is the incorrect phone number. I have attached some screenshots so you can see what I mean! If anyone could help that would be amazing!

Welcome to our community.

This can sometimes happen on the day the number is transferring over. As it is still happening days later, I'd recommend speaking to our technical team so they can check everything over and get this sorted.

@Olifab , have you received a text saying it was all completed?

Could you try turning your phone off and on again, rebooting it of course?

Could you check that the correct number is showing, as that appears to be the temporary number showing?

What phone do you have?

Yes I received the text on the 24th of September.

tried all that multiple times.

Correct number still isn't showing.

I have a Samsung s23 ultra.

@Olifab , I would suggest speaking to customer service they should be able to help sort this out. You can also text to 66033 with in subject line, GUIDE, they should be able to help.

get someone to ring your number see if the phone rings this can be an error in the mobile phone info usually happens when you change number or port in

if it rings then it working just the phones software is reporting it wrong

if this is the case get a replacement sim it will either show "correct number" or unknown in phone settings
