How to find out if PAC code is going through?

I ordered my SIM card to join EE on the 4th and got it on the 5th (Wednesday). One of the options I chose was to move my number over from Tesco, and I gave EE my PAC code on Tuesday with the order. I understand this takes a while, but is there a way to check that it's being processed? I have a call I'm expecting on the 13th and would hate to miss it because I didn't set up PAC correctly.

I have tried calling 150, but I am unable to speak to anyone. I just get sent text messages to give them my PAC again but I know doing it multiple times can slow down the process. I cannot work out how to speak with anyone. Is it possible to talk to someone via 150 or is there a different number I should call?

Once you have activated the sim, the port would normally take place the following day. If you have inserted the sim and have not received an update to advise when the number will be transferred, I would absolutely call 150 to check if the request has been processed, or so they can do it for you
