New SIM not working

Hi,

Ordered a new sim online and put it in my phone today 23/07/26 and it says I won’t transfer over till 04/08/26 so can’t make any texts or calls

You can still use it on the EE temp. no. even before your no. is ported.

Welcome to the community.

Number ports usually go through the next working day, so it's unusual that the date is set as 4th August. If you speak with our customer support team, they'll be able to check it and see if there's anything we can do to get it over quicker for you.

Thank you, the new sim was saying I had no credit so couldn’t use it at all
