Hi, last week I broke the screen on my iPhone 14 Pro. I borrowed my friends iPhone 11 until I could afford to fix my screen but my sim wouldn’t work in it. EE sent out a new sim with the same number, that arrived & started worked in the iPhone 11.

I got my iPhone 14pro screen fixed this evening. I signed out of Apple ID, & removed the iPhone 11 from my Apple ID.

I put the newly working sim in my iPhone 14pro….but now I have no signal. The sim is okay though, as it works in a friends ancient phone.

Why is my iPhone 14pro not receiving signal?

Was this repaired by an Apple Authorised Service Provider?

It's possible the antenna could have been damaged during the repair, is it reduced signal strength you're experiencing or nothing at all?

If the SIM works in another device, it usually indicates a device fault? Have you tried swapping the SIM back to the working phone to double check?
