      <description>&lt;P&gt;&lt;a href="https://community.ee.co.uk/t5/user/viewprofilepage/user-id/4999860"&gt;@Ab217&lt;/a&gt;&amp;nbsp; have you tried giving the SIM card a quick clean with a damp cloth ? make sure it’s dry before you put it back into the device. &amp;nbsp;if this problem persists, you probably better off requesting a replacement SIM card. You can do this by calling customer support support or by going to a store with in date photo ID to request a replacement SIM card there&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;To be fair, a physical chip-to-reader connection within a sealed device wouldn't generally attract dirt ingress unless the connection is broken by virtue of SIM-swapping or replacement.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Without anything beyond "my SIM isn't working" by means of description, there are so many possibilities for the cause that it's just speculative.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;A non-working SIM can easily be tested by a 2-way SIM-swap if in doubt. Any EE retail shop should be able to help with that if necessary.&lt;/P&gt;</description>
