Less than a month back switched to my Apple Watch after getting rid of my Samsung Galaxy Watch 4G.

I thought it would be as simple as an eSIM swap. I was directed by the EE guides (whilst on the phone) to click buy on a paired watch plan all while being assured that it was going to be free and as part of my all rounder plan.

I then noticed a new number in my account and an estimated bill of a £13.20 increase. Rang EE again - was assured not to trust an estimated bill and the discount would be applied. Fine, here's me thinking that one number would eventually disappear in the account.

Bill gets generated low and behold £13.20 charge. This time headed to use the webchat rather than phone as it was recommended. Did opt for phone initially waited and no one phoned.

after 3 hours on chat the only solution i ended up with is disconnecting all associated numbers. They do not have the power just to attach a number to become the 100% discounted one on the plan.

I'm now left out of pocket because they won't fully credit the difference and have no 4G connected watch associated with my number.

If you're thinking about switching watch disconnect and wait until there is numbers associated in your account.

Honestly thinking about leaving EE because of this whole process.

Hi @Keezza,

Thanks for visiting the EE Community

I am sorry to hear of your experience when purchasing a new watch plan with your All Rounder mobile plan.

I am not 100% sure if I have understood correctly, but it sounds like you had an existing watch plan that was being discounted with your plan, you got a new watch and wanted to transfer the plan to that one but inadvertently a second watch plan has been added to your account. Meaning you have one mobile plan, one free watch plan for the old watch and a second watch plan you are being charged for.

It should have been possible to transfer over the existing watch plan to your new watch which would have required taking the watch EID and then doing a replacement eSIM on the existing plan with that EID. I am not sure if this is what was done as things can still go wrong but either way its not something you should be penalized for if you were following the advice of one of our guides.

From what you are saying the watch plans are being cancelled to then presumably allow you to setup fresh, but if the above was not done at any point it may still be possible to just do things that way for the plan by speaking with our technical team.

But I can understand being frustrated with the situation if you feel you are not getting the support you should be calling 150 I would recommend submitting a complaint using our form so that our executive team can help resolve this for you.
