You may even find a difference in behaviour between incoming calls from "on-net" (i.e. another EE user) cf "off-net" (from other networks", due to the nature of how calls are routed.

What you're describing is classic split-porting, which is perfectly normal on the day of port-in. EE do have internal porting support on Saturday, should it be necessary.

Hi,

I've recently decided to make the switch from VOXI to EE. I received my sim in the mail yesterday and set up the porting; "Thanks, the port in is all set up and will take place by 6pm on 24-04-2026". I checked this morning and my number has been successfully ported on the app and when I text "NUMBER" to 150.

However, I can only make calls and texts, not receive them. I have tested calling myself from another number and it does not work. I am also not receiving any verification codes via text. Is this a split port issue or does porting take time to fully process? Surely if my number has been updated and I can make calls, I should also be able to receive them?

Wondering if I wait it out until 6pm to see if it fixes itself (before calling customer service) and risk not being able to resolve this situation before the weekend or not.
