My iPhone 12 uses eSIM so has no physical SIM card. I have been sent a new SIM along with new phone. Do I have to activate this and use it or can I just switch on new phone and hold it close to old phone and transfer everything wirelessly (which I did on my last upgrade) without using the new physical SIM card?
