Because I know you can do it when the other phone is working, but when it not, what do I do?&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Thank you.&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;Verification of your existing SIM is a security requirement of all SIM swaps, to prevent unathorised ones being actioned. An eSIM on a non-working phone is unfortunately a shortcoming of eSIM where you will need to do one of two things..&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;1: Request your SIM-swap by contacting EE-CS from another working phone - 07953 966150 is the number&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;2: Attend an EE retail store with photographic ID, to obtain a replacement physical SIM in-person and activate it immediately. If you then want to convert back to eSIM, you can do so via the normal process.&lt;/P&gt;</description>
