You can only have one SIM active on any given mobile number at a given time, whether that's "p" or "e" variant. The activation of one will deactivate another, as a matter of course.

Your post reads as though you think you have two active SIMs on the same number, which is impossible.

Hi.

Last week I changed my SIM plan, and moved from a normal physical SIM to an eSIM. However, I've found that if only the eSIM is activated, I can only use mobile data - not calls and texts as expected. My old physical SIM needs to be activated in order for those latter two to work. Is that normal? Should my eSIM not let me use data, calls, and texts on its own? I thought I'd be able to get rid of my physical SIM by changing to an eSIM!

I also have two 'EE's and two WIFI signals at the top of my mobile screen now - not end of the world stuff, but a little irritating!
