Hi @Milkman

As @XRaySpeX mentioned, any upgrades are performed on the existing SIM by default. So there's no need for a replacement SIM unless you request one, so there's no need to go through the hassle of replacing your existing eSIM.

I have an e-sim with a sim only contract that has now run out. I want to upgrade it with another sim only contract, but I cant see any option to have it as an e-sim again, when I go to checkout it tells me it will be delivered to my address.
Is it not possible to choose an e-sim when ordering?

When you say "has now run out", this sounds like the minimum-term has expired.. it otherwise continues on the exact same basis you are already on.

If your chosen new plan is better for you than current, then fair enough... but there's no need to change from a working plan just because the minimum-term has been served.

It's not uncommon for the myEE website to mention this "new SIM delivery", but if you've definitely chosen the "upgrade now" option, then your new plan will be changed on your account remotely, and you would continue to use your working SIM as you already are.

Yes, Im fully aware I dont "have:" to enter a new contract, but its quite an old one now and I can get one that is better and cheaper.

It was originally a physical sim, but then I got a new iPhone myself and swapped everything over from the old phone and swapped to e-sim. I guess I'll have to go through the painful process of trying to speak to someone

Do you really need to? Just "Upgrade now". Your plan will just change on your existing SIM, be it physical or 'e'.
