New EE sim

My daughter got a better deal for being a long-term customer, but didn't realise it would come with a new SIM.
How do we transfer her number, given both contracts are with ee? Do we request a PAC from her old number or her new one?
Please help a confused old woman!

PACs are for transferring between networks, not within 1 network.

EE won't port nos. between its contracts. So you need to 1st port your existing no. to another network's PAYG using a PAC from EE & then in reverse port it back to your new contract. This will also have the effect of cancelling your old contract.

You could alternatively move your old contract to PAYG with 30 days notice & then ask EE to transfer the no to your new contract.

That all sounds likea lot of work, and probably not worth the effort for the small amount we are saving!

If this new plan comes with a new SIM, that means a new number. New number means it has nothing to do with any so-called loyalty scheme and everything to with "someone" selling a new connection.
