No issues with the physical SIM and connection, tho not everything initially transferred over, app and login wise. Got there in the end.

New iPhone comes tomorrow, so I’m hoping iPhone to iPhone is more straightforward this time.

Have to be careful tho not to initiate a transfer from physical SIM to eSIM.

@Minkey1 , IPhone to IPhone is very simple and straightforward,, just keep both phones close by and you can do the transfer from one to the other, should have no issues, have done it with mine last year and four years ago, when I upgraded.

@Drewiemaxx , you should be able to transfer with both phones being near each other, not sure that everything will transfer, but most should, you may have to download some of the apps separately though, if they do not transfer.

Seem to remember Apple do, or did, a “Move to iOS” app or similar. It did smooth the way for me. Since then I’ve sold all my Google stuff and concentrated on Apple (phones, iPad, AirPods, Watch, and TV) - with Alexa on the home side.

I do like how Apple stuff all works together. I won’t be going back.

I still highly rate Pixel phones, but my 2 Nexus and Pixel tablets both died outside warranty, and I got fed up with Google constantly changing stuff eg they just deleted their podcast app. Sod ‘em.

No regrets.
