so basicallt, i bought a new iphone 16 pro max and then when i set it up i transferred the sim electronically, so it made the physical sim that was in my iphone 11 deactivated. so i purchased a new sim cos im waiting for my iphone 17 pro max to be delivered, ive switched my old sim to the new one but it hasn’t been activated. like on the packaging where u rip the sim out of, it says if ur replacing a SIM, U js need to put it in and it should work but it hasn’t, so do i need to activate it, but idk how to or what to do

So i got a replacement sim because my old sim was transferred electronically and deactivated my old sim, so i bought a new sim and it’s just arrived. it says on the package, that if it’s to replace a faulty SIM, just put it in and it should work as normal. But it’s not. what should i do

Can you explain a bit more about how you've come to have, from the sounds of it, two SIM?

You've mentioned having a replacement SIM (why?) but also "bought a new SIM" - why so?
