&lt;P&gt;If you switch on the old phone, is there no service at all, or is it still showing signal?&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;The old phone would usually only be wiped if you have reset it back to factory settings.&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;If you have done that, you would need to get another physical SIM or eSIM. This can be done by calling our &lt;A href="https://ee.co.uk/help/contact-ee" target="_blank"&gt;customer service guides&lt;/A&gt; from another phone, or if you are the account holder, you can visit an &lt;A href="https://ee.co.uk/store-finder" target="_blank"&gt;EE store&lt;/A&gt; with photo ID (either a driving licence or passport) and they can activate a SIM or eSIM with your number in store.&lt;/P&gt;
