Network change retaining old no.

I received my SIM Friday but the retention of no. from previous network has not yet happened. PAC details from previous network was obtained uring my original call about changing networks. When will this change happen?

Within a working day of you activating your EE SIM.

Your new EE SIM will have a temporary number assigned when you first receive it. If a PAC was supplied as part of the order, that will be submitted when you first activate the new SIM onto EE's network.

A port-in date will be set then, usually the following working day. This assumes activation during normal working hours - if during the evening, add an extra working day to these timescales.

Yeah I didn't set it up during working hours so I'll have to be patient.

Got medical alerts linked to my other no. so was a bit concerned but should have realised the 'weekend' situation.
