Ok, yours would potentially be complicated by your number being ported-in but... 07410 is listed as an EE-allocated prefix thus that suggests to me, Now-Mobile is a "light" MVNO who provide their own billing but re-label most else, including number allocations. There are numerous permutations available.

In these scenarios, then virtually all network queries - including "number provisioning" would be handled by the host-MNO, with the MVNO acting as middleman.

Hard to be certain.

My daughter has been with a BT/EE MVNO for several years and we never had an issue, purely went with them due to pricing and what they had to offer. However has been without service for over a week and I've contacted them daily to find out if there's any updates.
When I try calling the number I get "you've dialled an incorrect number"
I wanted to see if there may be any truth to what I've been told.

From their Customer Support: "The issue has already been raised with the technical team as the issue was with a specific series of numbers and the technical team is already in coordination with the service provider BT/EE.
It will be sorted out soon.
My apologies and I assure that you will be able to use the services soon."

If your daughter is an MVNO customer, then you need to persist with the MVNO customer support.

EE cannot & should not assist as she is not an EE customer - taking cheaper pricing sometimes has an impact on the level of service offered, which should always be borne in mind,

Out of curiosity, what are the first 5 digits of your daughter's mobile number? Different MVNO have different network architecture as far as number allocations operate.

Yea, I understand you get what you pay for in most instances, however it fits all her needs and been fine for years.
Just was wondering if there is actually a problem BT/EE and NOWMOBILE was having.
The no starts with 07410, if I remember correctly we brought this over from another provider.

Understandable, and thanks all for your responses.
for me it just doesn't explain how it's been working for years while with Nowmobile, and now it's "dead" in the last 2 weeks, it suddenly stopped working and their explanation is, "This issue has arisen due to a technical issue from our service provider, BT EE" another said, "there is an issue with a specific series of numbers" and another said, "there is an issue with some of the SIM cards".
I am an EE customer and know last week a new mast was put up in our area and we had 3 days of disruptions but all other services were fine, however before then my daughters Nowmobile sim had it's issues and never came right.

Account provisioning, call routing & similar functions are performed within the central/core network.

Radio sites provide coverage and are part of the access network, they are connected to the core network but not part of it.
