Hi, a little while ago I switched numbers with EE and I now have a new number, but that old number had the 2fa for my email account and it is not letting me in to verify my identity, what should I do? I need access to my old number.

If you have changed your number, then your old number is no longer yours but will now be in a period of quarantine before being eventually recycled for re-use.

You've not quantified how long "a while ago" is, but if it was literally a matter of hours then you may have half a chance of recovering an old number. Any longer, and it's gone. You'll have to find alternative means to access your account.
