I have long been with Three (two phones, one a contract and the other an older phone now with a Three PAYG sim). With EE I only have an iPad SIM which is fine and that is why I am on this site trying to buy an eSIM.

I rang Three to convert my PAYG SIM into an eSim but because of 'fraud', they say the don't do it 'temporarily'. But the guy I spoke to suggested getting an eSIM with another network, then transferring my Three number to the new eSIM. I already have the PAC and thought it would be straightforward, but didn't reckon how longwinded and inefficient EE is.

On this site there is nowhere I can order an eSIM or even an ordinary SIM. That's all I want to do. The 'options' you are offered when you ring 08009566000 are never relevant and if you do try to speak to someone (in my case in sales) you have to wait for about 20 mins. I did, then the line went dead.

Why are EE so bloody inefficient. Christ, here I am hoping to give them new business but it is nigh-on impossible. If anyone from EE reads this, please get in touch!

Well, thanks for that, and it would have helped if EE made that clear. As it is my experience in several ways is that they are all over the shop.

Well yes, that makes a certain kind of sense, but you might agree that it could be worth pointing out in case someone like me comes along trying to find out if the offer one or not.

And you sound rather a lot like an EE apologist. Is that what 'community stars' are expected to do?
