i have sent the pac code to EE to keep my old giff gaff number, the text says will be done by 18:00 today but now I can’t send any messages on wattsapp?

is that normal ?
What should I do?

Did the number complete fully last night?

Are you able to make calls and send texts outside of WhatsApp?

Has your SIM with your old provider gone off?

WhatsApp is just an internet app - as long as your phone has a working internet connection, the rest is upto Meta/FB...

EE have control over your mobile network connection, direct-dialled voice calls and SMS text messages. All of these can potentially be "split" on the day of your port-in, but should correct by end-of-day.
