All sorted now via tech support at EE. Phew.

The accidental porting text was a red herring.

We checked lots of stuff on my phone and basically in the end when we reset the network settings it all worked and was sorted. The texts were aso only an issue when i texted and android phone not iphone. Very odd.

settings - apps - phone is also a good check to see the right number is 'being broadcast'. But a reset of network settings did the trick.

A very odd thing indeed.

I left ee and then came back.

I got all the issues sorted last week and everything was fine.

Now I've been ported away from my original proper ported in number - back onto the temporary number I had on my temporary sim!!

I think I texted the ee port sms number by accident but I didn't reply to anything or confirm it and it may have ported me back to the old temp number!

Has this happened to anyone else?

I didn't confirm the port and got no notifications at all.

Would they do it without checking?

Thanks

When you say "I think I texted the ee port sms number by accident", did you provide a PAC?

EE-CS have access your individual account and can advise further?
