Hello, how long does it take to port my number from my previous provider to EE and how can I know if the porting will be taking place as I got the SIM from the store and was assisted by one of your store staff with the whole process yesterday which was 14/11/24.

It takes 1 working day from when you 1st activate your EE SIM.

Like @XRaySpeX mentioned, normally your number will port over on the following working day, provided it's requested before 5:30pm.

If they set this up in store, then we'd expect this to transfer over today, or on Monday if it were after 5:30pm; we do recommend that it can take up until midnight to fully complete, though.

So we can be 100% sure though, you can reach out to our customer care team and they'll be able to confirm if this is set up on your account, along with the port date.
