topic Sim only plan in SIM cards & Porting

My contract ended and I've renewed on a "SIM only" plan however I've not received a new SIM yet and my phone is now without service so I cannot receive or make calls on my existing phone/SIM. Should I be expecting a new SIM in the post? My contract renewed on 4th October and it's now the 10th

Hi @Stu_87

You don't need a new SIM unless you asked for one. Tried restarting your device.

You can use Skype over wifi and the number in my signature to call EE.

Thanks

Also EE's contracts are not fixed-term ones that just end, the natural consequence would be all phones disconnected as a matter of course on the same date - that would cause huge volumes of complaints.

Contracts are rolling ones with no end date, but a minimum term. All you've done in this case, is to change your priceplan.
