TRANSFER OF A PHONE NUMBER

Not sure if this is the right forum, please an Admin move if I'm in the wrong one. 🙂

I have (had) a iphone, with o2 (I just transfered number to EE)

I have another phone, google pixel with EE

Hospitals Doctors have my old phone, so wanted to keep the number (plus I could remember this number.

I wanted to keep my ee phone and phone number, as everyone else has this number including sites like paypal and others who send me pins to verify my identity... but my original EE number seems to not exist now, now I can't get into certain websites as text to my EE was how I verified identity.

how do I sort this out? I wanted to keep my existing EE phone and number and keep the number formerly with 02 using a pay as you go or very minimalist plan (I don't make too many calls, and don't need web browsing etc. )

Seems now, EE have put a virtual sim with my iphone number, in my google pixel - and my google pixel number does not work. I am assuming I have to phone up (though not sure of the number) to try to sort this out. Question is, is it a call centre and are they going to understand what I've had trouble trying to explain on here?

We know how important it is for you to have access to your number, so I'd love to help you get this sorted. Can I just check which line had you requested to move your number onto? Was this the Google Pixel number, or did you have another, temporary number, with us?
