Are you aware if the device was blacklisted?

Hello,

my iPhone was stolen last week in central London, soon after the phone was in East London, today in Dubai.

I called EE to tell them and I got a new SIM card the following day, I haven't removed my phone from my apple account

Today I received two scam messages , they wanted me to click on a link saying my Apple ID had been used and another one saying someone was sharing my photos, I'm not fool, I didn't click on anything

my question is, how did they get my phone number if my SIM card was supposedly deactivated by EE?

I don't think they have switched my phone on because I have it pending erase

They texted me from two different mobile numbers. I have reported these two numbers to 7726

they want me to click on those links they send . I didn’t . And yes , my mobile phone is blacklisted on immobilised website but I don’t know if with EE . When I called I don’t think I was asked for a IMEI number

i would like to know how they got my phone number if my phone is set to erase when it’s turn on

Hi @bordeline.

Thanks so much for reporting these numbers.

I'd recommend giving us a call to ensure the phone is blacklisted through EE.

I'm not sure how someone could access your number from your SIM as your right, the SIM will be blocked and once a replacement is issued it can't be reactivated.
