Welcome to the community.

Is the number currently in your dad's name?

Is it current on a contract or pay as you go account with EE?

Hi,
Yes the number is currently in my dads name and it was a contract which ended this month and then he cancelled it so that will be complete on the 29th of this month so i would need to sort it by then if possible?

Sent from my iPhone

Do you know if he has cancelled it outright or requested a PAC to move the number? @elliedeakin

If it is due to be cancelled on the 29th, he would need to cancel that request, then our customer service guides can either arrange a change of ownership to move the number to your name, or he can request a PAC so you can move the number elsewhere.

It would need to be something that your dad starts either way as we'd not be able to do it with you without his authorisation.

To add, if you want to move an EE line to another network - that is done via a PAC. If you want to remain with EE, but change the legal ownership & account holder, then that's not a PAC but a change of owner.

As he is the account holder he'd need to request to stop the cancellation notice first of all, then speak to our billing guides to authorise the change to you.

Once he has done that, you'd be able to call up and run through a credit check with our team to transfer the number to your name.
