Can't make or recieve calls

After switching my SIM on Tuesday someone tried to call me today but they just got three bips and it did not ring for me. I tried to call them after they sent a facebook message but it just hung up. SIM manager shows the right SIM and number and I have managed to send a text. Tried calling 150 but it just hangs up straight away the same.

Any ideas?

I am sorry you are having issues with your calls, have you been able to make any successful outgoing or incoming calls to other numbers since switching the SIM ?

Why was it you had needed a new SIM, was the old one lost? What type of phone is it you are using?

Thanks for the reply. Have got it sorted now by visiting the ee shop in Preston Lancs. I got a new SIM as I switched from O2 on Tuesday I got the PAC messages, change of number successfull etc so thought everything was fine but when I wanted to make a call on Friday realised I couldn't receive calls or make them.
