Transferring old number to sim

Hi all, just some advice, got my new device today and new sim for EE, I have put the sim in and had already stated my pac number when i ordered the phone so that my old number can be transferred. How long should i expect before my old number is transferred to this phone?

If you've activated your new SIM with temporary number before approx 5pm on a working weekday, your PAC will be submitted the same day.

Port-in should then be the following working day.

So will my new number automatically go over to my phone? or do i need to do anything, i gave my pac code when i bought the phone and my old number, so will they automatically transfer, or do i need to do anything else?

If you've given your PAC, it should automatically transfer. If you'd like someone to check it for you, please give our Mobile Care team a call on 150.
