Emergency calls only

Over the last week mine and my wife's phone keeps going to emergency calls only. The phone says no SIM. I can't phone ee so I'm left yet again with no service. It's now obviously a sim problem.

If your phone is not detecting your SIM I would recommend trying your SIM in another device.

If this continues when placing your SIM into another device please try a replacement SIM.

This can be ordered by giving us a call or visiting your local EE Store.

I can't use my phone to report SIM issue as my phone says no SIM in phone emergency calls only. Message bot says use WiFi calling but you need a network to activate WiFi calling. This problem is ongoing and I am getting no help from EE. They said they would call me back in 3 days that was 6 day's ago.

Are you on EE PAYG or pay monthly contract.
What device do you have and did EE provide it.
Are you in the UK.

What phone do you have, how long have you owned it and where did you buy it.

Can you try the sim in another device.

I have a brand new Nokia C32. I bought it thinking that my old phone was the problem. It's from ao.

Have you tried manually selecting EE from your network settings.

Can you make sure the sim is correctly inserted.

If you are confident the SIM is the issue, and have proven so by a 2way SIM-swap, then you have 2 choices.

1: Order a replacement SIM via CS, by contacting them on 0800 9566000 from any working phone. It need not be a mobile or an EE phone. You may also use a web-calling app such as Skype, to make this call.

2: Visit an EE retail shop and your SIM should be replaced there & then.

Hi, I actually haven't tried to select it manually. I'll give it a go. I have removed the SIM and replaced it. Thank you for your help so far.
