&lt;P&gt;New SIMs usually need activating in the UK, the roaming permissions to enable access to foreign networks may also be reset. There's no harm in trying, but I suspect you will fall foul of a catch-22 situation.&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;This is one advantage of a physical SIM.&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;Can anyone help.&amp;nbsp;&lt;BR /&gt;Phone damaged whilst abroad, only an e sim no physical sim in the phone.&amp;nbsp;&lt;BR /&gt;New physical sim sent to our home address, once we insert the sim into uk handset will we be able to activate our e sim via the app abroad? The physical sim will be in our phone in the uk.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Thank you&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;</description>
