Moving from BT to EE mobile

Hi all

new ee sim turned up today. I have 3 to move.
I put the first one in which is a new ee sim and new number and made a call this afternoon.

Is that all I need to do, will it transfer my old number automatically now? This is what I was told. I’m moving from bt mobile and apparently the port is automatic.

Nothing has happened yet however, 5 hours ago I made a call with the ee sim. I have 3 sims to do so don’t want to mess anything up.

Yes, your number transfers will happen automatically on the next working day.

If you activated your SIM cards before 5:30 pm, this will be Monday.

Thank you, I got a message to say it’s transferring on Tuesday. I think due to bank holiday Monday.
