topic New sim list signal in SIM cards & Porting

After starting a new sim contract in the 4th, I received my new sim on the 8th. I placed the pac from o2 when completing order. I placed the new sim in my iPhone 14 Plus in the evening. When I woke the next morning there was no signal and my phone states new sim. I had to put my sim in again to use the phone for the day.

When you first insert your EE SIM and connect it to the network, your PAC is submitted.

Assuming that is before approx 5pm on a working weekday, your port-in will then complete the following working day. If it is after approx 5pm or on a weekend, add an extra working day to the timescales.

I started a new contract with ee, I inputted my pac code when ordering. Received my sim 3 days later. I placed the new sim in the evening. Woke up the next day it states no sim inserted even though it had a signal the night before. I now have had to put my old sim from o2 back in the phone to type this message! I have a iPhone 14plus. So no signal no porting of my old number and having to use my old sim from another provider.
