Hello please,

I'm living UK basically.

I had bought a EE unlimited SIM card by Amazon and I went abroad with it to use it there as roaming.

After I was back to UK, I'm already turning off roaming. However this SIM card does't work well. This SIM card was normally communicating at 5Mbps, but the communication speed has dropped to 500kbps.

I've been doing a lot of trial and error, but I can't seem to get the connection speed back to what it was before the trip. I've inserted this SIM card into various devices, and they all have the same communication speed.
Could you please let me know if there is any solution?

What devices are you using the SIM in - are these phones, or routers?

Are they showing a 4G connection or 2G one? Do other EE users achieve similar data speeds in the same locations?

Thank you for your reply.

I basically use it with a pocket router , but I also use it with a smartphone.

pocket router:ZTE wi-fi, smartphone:Galaxy S21 5G

And yes, these shows a 4G connection and other EE users achieve similar data speeds in the same place.
