I've recently received a new EE sim. I'm porting my old number. When do I insert the new sim. How will I know when my old number will reactivate on the new EE sim.

@Bigmikee1 It takes up to 24 hours to port a number from a different network. You’ll know it’s ported because you’ll have no signal on the other sim.

When you first insert your new EE SIM it will connect with a temporary number. Assuming that's done before approx 4pm on a working weekday, your PAC will be submitted that day and number ported-in the following working day.

If you do this after 4pm on a weekday, your PAC will be submitted the following working day.
