Yes, you can put your EE SIM card into a different handset, including a new Sony handset that you buy outright. From looking around trying to find your answer, there is no need to make any changes to your account to use your SIM in a different phone.

Hi, I have had an EE contract for six years now and.do not want to move to anyone else. I cannot upgrade my phone as there seems to be something lurking on my credit file which I'll need to look into. It may sound obvious but if I bought a Sony handset outright (which I have now but is falling to pieces) can I just slot the SIM into the new handset?

Kind regards

J

Superb many thanks for your reply. I believe my contract will just continue to roll so I'll start looking for a handset now. I really appreciate your reply.

J
