Hi - I ordered an EE PAYG SIM last weekend and completed the details for porting at the same time. I hadn't got round to inserting my SIM until today and it still hasn't ported my old number. Is the 'next working day' window only applicable to when the SIM has actually been activated?

Yes, until the SIM itself is on the network the no. cannot be ported to it.

Thank you. My phone is dual sim so it's not the end of the world to wait, I just wanted to know whether I had to chase anything up.
