    <description>&lt;P&gt;A few months ago I purchased a new contract through the upgrade page on the EE app. I assumed this would just upgrade my current SIM but it in reality ordered a completely new one.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;So now my issue is, I want to move my phone number from one SIM &amp;nbsp;to the new one I purchased so that I can cancel my old one. I’ve read online this isn’t possible but I don’t really understand why. Could someone please help me out with this as paying for two sims isn’t fun &lt;span class="lia-unicode-emoji" title=":disappointed_face:"&gt;😞&lt;/span&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;You never did an upgrade which would've carried forward your no.&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;EE won't port nos. between its contracts. So you need to 1st port your existing no. to another network's PAYG using a PAC from EE &amp;amp; then in reverse port it back to your new contract. This will also have the effect of cancelling your old contract.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;You could alternatively move your old contract to PAYG with 30 days notice &amp;amp; then ask EE to transfer the no to your new contract.&lt;/P&gt;</description>
