Activating new sim

I've just got a new sim only contract and received the new sim today. My old one appears to have been deactivated (no service) so I'm not able to receive the text with the 6 digit pin to activate the new sim. How can I go about activating the sim without being able to call EE?

Yeah, neither of them have any signal.

You may be able to rry a live-chat when you're logged into your myEE, but otherwise will likely have to wait until you do have access to another phone.

Incidentally, changing your priceplan on an existing number doesn't require a new SIM. Taking a new line with a new number, if that's what you did, would.

Is it a brand new SIM or is it a replacement? If it's a replacement, what was the reason for it?

It’s a brand new sim and yes I have tried just putting it in my phone but it doesn’t work

They're usually pre-registered. Are you using it in an EE/unlocked device?
