topic Trouble receiving some one time passcodes in SIM cards & Porting

Hi all

I ported my number over from o2 to ee on Thursday and I am now having issues in receiving some one time passcodes. The main issue is Santander, who confirmed that the passcodes are definitely leaving their system correctly. I am also unable to get codes from Wordpress. But I have got HMRC, Aviva and Nationwide ok.

I called 150 today and they said that they have recently updated their spam/security settings and filters therefore I need to tell Santander and Wordpress that their network provider needs to upgrade their systems to bypass EE’s spam filters.

This makes sense but I don’t get why they are not getting through? The number I receive messages from for Wordpress is a saved contact in my phone and it’s still not coming? This is an international number however I have still got messages from an international friend so it’s not that that’s blocking it.

It is vital that I get this sorted as it is affecting my mortgage and work. I thought it may be to do with the port but EE said it was 100% their filters.

Can anyone recommend any solutions? Or should I just call 150 again and keep complaining?

You're certainly right to keep persisting with 150 here.

That messages from some senders arrive, proves the porting data is correct.
