Calls on tablet

Hello

My daughter Levono tablet has just been delivered. She can receive and send texts but no calls. I haven’t included minutes in her contact so is this why? But the line goes dead when I ring her? Tried several times to clean the sim etc but it can’t be a network problem if she can text.

@Lwaite91 Just because a product can support such a feature (. Does it have a phone app ? ) . it doesn’t mean the network has to support that service for that device.

Yes it has the phone app which is why I was confused why I couldn’t call it from it from a separate device.

Not All WiFi + Cellular Tablets can make a Cellular Phone Call, even if they have a Phone App or you have Installed such App, could also be as suggested that you have a Data Sim Plan, but these are not normly Call Restricted on the EE Network. Try making Call to EE on 150 (should be a Free Call) and see if that works, if not remove the Sim from the Tablet put it in a Mobile and try Calling 150 to test that way.
