Reactivating a Sim

Hi there,

I used to be a EE customer and had used my EE phone number to create an Instagram account. I am now locked out of that Instagram account but the recovery link is sent to the EE number I no longer use. I still have the SIM card though. Is there any way to activate it temporarily to revive the account recovery link?

No, you relinquished your no. when you cancelled. Websites should provide a means to get outta this bind. Nos. can be so transient & easily lost.

Email or SMS are usually alternate ways of signing upto websites, scenarios such as this are a reason for using both when possible.
