Number issue

My daughters number has ported over the EE but when she sends an SMS it brings up the number that was originally on the Sim. Ringing her is fine on her number and Whatsapp etc. its just when she sends an SMS

What phone is she using?

Is she using a downloaded texting app?

She is using a Google Pixel 6a.

Just using the normal messaging app

Could you try, opening the messages then tap on menu and go to settings then chat features, does the correct number show?

If not, can you turn chat on and off again and see if this resolves the text messages showing the incorrect number?

Shows as the wrong number so just trying to work out how to turn it off and back on
